Stay on track

It's a good thing to take time out to think about how your SmallSteps4life challenge is going. So how is it going? Are you sticking to your challenge?

Of course, it feels great when things are going well, but let's face it, things don't always go to plan. Don't panic if that's the case, here's some help and advice to help you get back on track.

The key is to try to stay positive, and just do your best. Taking part is a great start, and these tips may help you see it through to the end:

  • Remember you're not doing it alone - talk to your challenge buddy and see what small improvements you could make
  • Take a look at the school gallery to see if other schools and students have come up with ideas around keeping going
  • Look at the quotes about your challenge - see what other students have done
  • Share your experiences - positive and negative - with your classmates, friends and family; they can help you find your way
  • Take one step at a time and make sure you break your challenge up into manageable chunks
  • And finally - have fun, and don't forget when you reach your goal - celebrate!
